Light the Way Academic Forum, Hong Kong

The Light the Way Academic Forum in Hong Kong, held June 14, 2024, brought the spirit of Berkeley to the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Over one hundred alumni and friends gathered for this event, engaging with thought-provoking discussions led by world-class Berkeley faculty on pressing topics shaping our world today.

The Academic Forum featured insightful discussions on a range of timely topics, from Berkeley’s role in fostering entrepreneurship for the public good to a deep dive into voter behavior in US elections and an exploration of California-China collaboration on climate solutions. Attendees heard from esteemed faculty and experts, with engaging moderation by Stephen Luk Ph.D. ’01, Junjie Li MA ’08, and Chancellor Rich Lyons.
